The optimistic side of me wants to say we're just repeating the cycle from 40 years ago. Except now we have to throw fascism and lawlessness and a ticking climate clock into the mix. But I want to believe we're just on the low side of a cycle. Delusional? Perhaps. You must hold onto something.
