Climate work in Colorful Colorado.

Most of our troubles are due to our passionate desire for and attachment to things that we misapprehend as enduring entities. -Dalai Lama
Wonderfully said.

It is a bit remarkable when any member of Congress with a safe seat retires, though!

There are many in Weld and across this country who voted Trump but are not suffering. Some are not just indifferent to it but pleased people they view as undeserving now have less.

Best, I think, to help than join the celebration of suffering because you feel it is deserved for different reasons.

73,282 Weld Countians voted for someone other than Donald Trump in 2024.

The largest employer is JBS meat packing in Greeley—$5M donor to Trump's inauguration. They employ hundreds of documented immigrants who could not vote but, as legal migrant workers, would be eligible for food assistance.

Easier to fundraise with Trump in the White House than Biden or Harris.

Thanks, Eric! Appreciate the guide and the work that went into it.

I love the candidate profiles. I expect you've had a number of interactions with Lauren, Matt and Nicole and wish they were split out. I feel they often are lumped as "the progressives" instead of individuals—even in past elections.

It may seem that way but they are far enough south that they don’t experience the same solar shifts that folks living further north do.

IN NINETEEN SEVENTY TWO?!?

We should be mindful we are more ignorant than we realize. Especially when we feel compelled to make rules for others.

Barely made it! (I see 40° from my window.) ❤️ this post…or joke? Seems it’s always people in southern states who think DST is silly!

Small hassle twice a year. I could live with permanent summer time but the mornings get hard. I believe we evolved to rise with the sun. I am team keep the DST shift.

Isn’t AI really just continuing the trend of online search? And how did that go?

Why should we expect anything different from AI, especially when control of AI is going to be concentrated in a few huge tech companies that will eventually want to start making money from their users?

Yes.

Also yes.

> They think people are only worth as much as they can produce in GDP.

Once this clicked for me I saw it in so many of their policies, so much of what they espouse.

I had been hit by a car in this very situation. Fortunately, I saw it coming in my peripheral vision was able to hop and roll across their hood before they sped off.
