my favorite aspect of this series is how much it cuts to the villains in their lair scheming and infighting, there's never just a simple "yes boss" among any of these guys they all have their own motivations for wanting to kill dai and rise in the ranks, hadlar is making moves and is a huge cuck

honestly this is the coolest way they could've gone about reclassing Maam as a martial artist, it fits both mechanically with the games and leads to this insane shonen shit that i fucking LIVE for. using recovery magic to amplify the human body and overloading people with healing to kill is SICK
