I’m currently craving a single plum, floating in perfume, served in a man’s hat, while a menacing clown lurks outside my house and a man in black suit dances to Stealers Wheel with a straight razor.

What underlies all this is an attack on critical thinking and acceptance of statements (ie the solutions manual) without verification of something that sounds wrong. I have great respect for teachers but we also have to have to humility to admit when something sounds off.

Watched the lead bounce back and forth until I felt like I was watching a tennis match (albeit with hot chocolate and Amarula... out of Baileys). Went to bed. Woke up. New majority government.

The admin has likely already calculated how long they can operate without paying faculty and amount of money they’ll save from it. They won’t consider returning to the table until the start of the term is threatened. Not until tuition revenue is threatened will they negotiate in good faith.

...2/2 This WILL STILL impact students.. & admin will blame faculty for it. It also aims to take away on-campus student support for their profs. Bluntly, it's a dick move by Dal, dismissive of their faculty and students. Faculty working conditions are student learning conditions. #Solidarity!
