fascinating :o CI user here, admittedly i feel ... weird about the concept. probably would feel less weird if there's "something" about the characters that already lends itself to the idea, much like your reaction. (eg an ojisan going deaf, resulting caregiving/interaction part of the dynamic).

yeah, there's a lot of cruddy actions by a very specific ... immature slice of animanga fan that you're referring to, and i hope they grow wiser and kinder.
but yeah, there's many, *many* other creatives who are total sweethearts who draw lolisho too; just much easier to judge actions than art.

boundaries are great; that's why there's the back/block button. but if one cannot tolerate discomfort in fiction, how will we know when Power uses comfort to lead us to ruin?

i'm actually quite uncomfortable when I *don't* see them; lolisho creatives are a healthy part of the ecosystem, and they deserve far more dignity from peers -us- than they've gotten.
