For Pride/No Kings today, in my Menace T.
Brought out the hat for the light rain.
Me, a tall pale woman with blue eyes and long brown hair tied back in a ponytail (not visible) and under a broadbrimmed black hat. I'm wearing a black "Transexual Menace" t-shirt. The lettering is white and red and sits across the tops of my breasts. I'm also wearing a long black leather trench coat that comes down to mid calf. Hormone therapy is amazing.

It'll be six years this summer and so often now, I'll catch sight of myself in the mirror and think "oh my gosh, I actually look good! I look like me!"

And I didn't start until I was nearly 47.

Gender euphoria.

A theremin you say?

I _tried_ to align hand positions to notes, but haven't practiced enough for consistency.

I had the kit for years, and only finished building it not quite 3 years ago.
A theremin - in a woodgrain rectangular prism of a box sits on a red topped kitchen counter with a various containers behind and to the left, along with a door with a diamond window up high, also left, and a tile wall behind center and right. The theremin's pitch antenna extends vertically up on the right side, and the loop of the volume antenna extends from the left. The center of the housing is black. On its left under an audio jack is written "moog" Rightward of that, in the housing are four dial controls, the labeling of which is illegible at this resolution.

I started laser on my face at age 30, and didn't start medical transitioning until age 46.

Or the light that took different paths can appear to have come from the same point such that when you look towards whatever is bending their path, it looks like the object - a virtual image. In the pictures here, it's lenses doing the bending of the light.

You can get images if that light that took different paths either winds up in the same place, in which case it could be projected onto a screen or digital camera's CCD or your retina - a real image.

Gnome!

[Spotted in the Middlesex Fells Reservation yesterday]
