I suspect a lot is just boomers retiring. Then burn out. Every industry has not been training enough millennials to take the place of retiring workers. There's a shortage of nursing schools.

Do you have data to back that up? Exit interviews? I think there's 3 million or so cases of long covid. 22 million Healthcare workers per the cdc. Even if half the cases are hc workers, that's 6% of the workforce. I think more have quit than that.

My father is lonely because he's an abusive alcoholic. I feel like these men made their beds and should lay there all alone.

I wish this was true, but perpetrators of violence against women and predators are non-partisan. Look at Neil Gaimen...

How many minimum wage works actually get full time hours? It's even worse when you factor in unreliable part time schedules for minimum wage workers.

I'm blaming almost every politician from 1960 on to today for wage stagnation and the transfer of wealth to the 1%.

What age group is considered a pediatric death in this data set? Internet gave me a bunch of different age ranges.

If people keep taking their chicken pox vaccine, soon there will be no shingles. Wouldn't that be nice.

The number 1 thing I took away from cultural anthropology is bias and your world view are basically impossible things to remove from yourself.

The problem with the left is we make assumptions, get defensive and hostile and insulting. We never assume good faith and can't have meaningful conversations.

I have compassion even for murderers. It's a big tenant of my religions. He made a wrong decision, but that doesn't mean he deserves the death penalty. I am currently reading We've Never Been Woke by Musa Al Gharbi. I've also learned a lot working with the Black Panter Party on local issues. Enough?

You are assuming I'm attracted to him. I'm not.

I call lots of people honey. It's actually a cultural thing in my neck of the woods that's endearing and used to connect with people. Everyone has culture. I didn't know it's a problem in other areas because it's used a lot where I live. I'll be cognizant of that.

I like to ask them what they are going to do to make sure things are fine in 4 years.

What exactly are you implying with saying he's at my table? Is that because I'm white? You think I'm rich liked he was? Something else? I don't want to assume.

In discussion of him, Republicans who watch Ben Shapiro sided with the people over greedy CEOs and the US Healthcare system. Again you are assuming I'm saying he's perfect. I don't hate people ever. I'm willing to meet people where they are at. People can and do change their minds.

Also, why the internet sucks. You saw one thing and made a whole lot of assumptions.

I don't believe individual violence does anything. I just like that art and the class consciousness he's bringing. But honey, intent matters. Those two men had wildly different intent. So it's not the same. The world is complicated. Don't try to simplify it.
