Thanks 😊 It’s not a new app. It’s a new version of my app released over 2 years ago.

Congrats! I hope you will find many new users thanks to adding a new language. Having my apps localized to many languages helped me a lot.

I did try confirmation dialog. But in iOS 26 it’s not at the bottom anymore.
The closest to what I wanted was a Menu with hidden label and an overlay with things from Menu’s label.

That’s frustrating 🫂 I get it. You want to develop the best experience with attention to details. And later you need to remove it because of some iOS 26 issues.
I had another problem with contextMenu but thankfully at least this is fixed in iOS 26.1.

Thanks. I’ve tried. It looks different. Didn’t feel right here.
I made it work with glassEffect and the animation is almost good now. But I would still prefer the iOS 18 menu. It was simpler and more elegant in my opinion.

Thanks. I hope Apple will either give us more options at some point or just improve the animations 🤞

Sorry to hear about your health. I hope it’s nothing serious. Have a great November, Rudrank! 🍀

That’s very cool that you did something about it. That was brave. And it’s great to hear that he will make some changes. Seems like a compromise.

For this particular screen I’ve left A for now. But I’ve implemented B on some other screens have less data on one screen. New version is not yet released, though.
It was interesting to learn that many people perceive B as more modern. As it’s more aligned with iOS 26.

👋 Hey, Veronica. Thanks ☺️ Testing it in the app would be a bit expensive and difficult. That’s why I just wanted to know people’s opinions via social media.

The only way for me is to go to Search tab and select categories from there. But yeah, I agree with you. Previous versions were better. It’s a sad example of prioritizing UI over UX.
I remember Netflix liked to AB test a lot. I wonder if it’s still the case.

I hope someone at Apple reads this and will do something about it. If it would be me I would feel I failed knowing that an active user stopped sending feedback.

Sorry, mate. You can be both.
Once, one of my copycats posted about his app on Reddit and he even forgot to change my app name to his after copying my app description too.
