One year, I felt miserable and thought it was depression. My fever the next morning clued me into seeing a doctor and got me diagnosed with the flu. 😅

If you really want to, I won't stop you. 🤣

Yeah, I keep overhearing the teachers chat about how it's going around, and I'm at my desk, like, "And this is precisely why I still mask as much as I can." 🙃

Sweet kid. I trust that they're not contagious despite my antics.

Except five other kids in their class are absent (and 5~7 kids absent in other classrooms).

Which still leaves me severely outnumbered, and I really don't want to catch the flu. 🤣

Another part of it (for me) is that most ads have nothing to do without whatever I'm trying to engage with. I get it was the same with TV commercials, but now it's somehow gotten more intrusive.

Commercials/ads can be cool too if designed well, but they all feel the same to me now and push me away rather than pull me in.

Seconding Sumatra after a friend had recommended it to me.

Almost no delays/lags in opening files or in scrolling through pages. Absolute game changer after the headache Adobe Acrobat had been giving me.

Rooting for you!

Supervisor: You don't have the same spark you had when I observed your lessons before.

(Me: I dunno. I'm overworked and underpaid working for a BOE that won't even give us full-time contracts. You tell me what I should make of it.)

Maybe I could do kindergarten again...? I like the energy of little kids (even if it does take a lot of me).

I guess I just have to buckle down and see what's available right now. My latest resume's apparently only two years out of date, so less to update than I initially feared.
