One of the very first drawings I made of my character LeoJames, back when he was literally just evil Leon, or about as much of an Evil Leon as 11 year old me who still struggled to draw humans could muster. Here, you can only see his hair and his smile, and the text reads "I'll always love you."

The first time I tried drawing Victor in my art style, it did NOT go well, so for a while I tried to emulate Ito's art style as best as I could to get a hold of his defining characteristics. Now I've become so comfortable with drawing him that I can give him my signature (or dreaded) nose triangle of shading my usual shape language for hair. ...Nothing's really changed. Frankenstein watching over the ocean on Captain Walton's ship. His left eye is bugging the absolute shit out of me but I'm too lazy to go fix it so shhhh ignore it. I like everything else about this though A messy doodle of Victor sitting in the shack after being confronted by the Creature. I just wanted to try out drawing his side profile in my style, so not much attention was put on his body. As much as I loved the artwork in the manga, there were times where I felt that the facial expressions weren't intense enough for what was happening. Of course, this is amateur American cartoon artist me talking, but I tried it anyway. I think I could have done better... don't really know what to do with the mouth...
