I've only met you a few times and I don't know you very well but you didn't deserve any of that. I went through something eerily similar with a partner and it was mortifying learning all these things after the fact. I can't imagine doing so in the public eye. You're really brave for that.

I'm sorry you're going through this Cael. I have been dealing with thyroid issues the last year and a half and I know that long anxiety filled wait for biopsy results. I hope they get back to you soon.

I can understand it being a lot harder for others. My family never connected much outside of our immediate family and never had much sense of community in that aspect so I never knew them well enough to care about their absence. That definitely made it a lot easier for me.

This is essentially the mindset of most of my immediate family. Since my parents died, I'm estranged for a reason.
