I had trouble with mounjaro that was more than the expected adjusting-proportions etc.
turns out it was horrible gas, bad enough to cause vomiting, with no signs it was happening except uneasy stomach, vague not feeling well and hurting after eating.

It is also excellent for inexpensively bulking up dinners even when you’re not meat free.
There are a lot of recipes that can be done half TVP and half meat without sacrificing flavor or texture.
It’s a very inexpensive and easily stored protein source for both the vegetarians and the poors :)

I was shopping for a hummingbird feeder for a gift earlier this year and almost all of them bragged that they were bee-proof!

I think it’s also called “TVP” - texturized vegetable protein - and can often be bought by the scoop in health food stores/coops.
You can buy it in different flavors, too - like ham or sausage.

It is my understanding that they work by physically slowing digestion so that you have to moderate your intake heavily or bear the pain and vomiting as well as doing some sort of hormone magic that makes you feel full/not crave.

When I lost half my taste right down the middle of the tongue due to Bell’s Palsy (…3 times…) I found myself eating mostly for texture (raw green peppers) and nutritional impact vs effort (soup).
