Finally: AI cannot do your job, but an AI salesman can 100% convince your boss to fire you and replace you with an AI that can't do your job, and when the bubble bursts, the money-hemorrhaging "foundation models" will be shut off and we'll lose the AI that can't do your job, and you will be long gone, retrained or retired or "discouraged" and out of the labor market, and no one will do your job. AI is the asbestos we are shoveling into the walls of our society and our descendants will be digging it out for generations:

Like damn the vatican didnt build over 600 churches and chapels after the reformatiok out of thin air. They were so under budget some of those chapel altars consists of woodboards painted by artisans to look like symmetrically cut marble

I think people have become locked in thinking about who they are. So much so that they no longer give themselves space to learn about themselves and that journey it takes. It is a shame, really.

I think our modern euro-western society have objectified life so much that we only have abstracted symbols of living left. In a sense, «adventure» has become less of a way to live and more like a symbol of identity for people to brand themselves as «adventurous». It is just really out of touch
