Should be a good episode (releases Aug 1st) on @insightmyanmar.bsky.social with @kyungmekim.bsky.social talking how ethnic resistance, ecological protection & anti-authoritarianism overlap in Myanmar... against state-level extraction, corruption, violence & displacement.

Should be good.

I’ve refrained from reading the news over the past few weeks, but realizing that avoiding it isn’t right to respond to the atrocious attacks on our democracy and the future of our children. I want to engage in constructive conversations that channel our collective anger and frustration, but how?

School shootings are rare in #Sweden, so yesterday's news is a shock. The scene of shooting is an adult school, run by a municipality for adults. This school is not limited to but mostly attended by immigrants wishing to gain a high-school certificate for higher education or jobs. RIP
