"as voluntary as possible" - Labour's approach to deportations.

Imagine using that sort of formulation in other contexts, eg "as consensual as possible" of sex. That instantly exposes its weasel nature.
"He wanted the deportations of people born in Britain to be “as voluntary as possible”. So not "voluntary" then.

Labour and Reform are essentially aligned on anti-immigration. The only difference being that Labour claims its xenophobic cruelty is "progressive".

This is getting stupid now.

We're at the point where Labour acknowledge both the damage caused by Brexit AND that rejoining the Customs Union (more accurately, joining A Customs Union) would boost growth.

And yet they still reinforce their red lines.

This would be brilliant if it was enforced. Irrespective of Party
It’s really simple…

- Cap all political donations
- Ban foreign donations
- Strict conflict‑of‑interest & anti‑corruption laws with penalties
- No titles, honours or peerages for donors
- No govt contracts for donors
- Publish every donation/lobby meeting

…that’ll do it.
