Listening to this The River tour show a lot lately and for “Prove It All Night” it sounds like Bruce says “I’ve been working real hard trying to get my ass clean…” and now I’ll never hear it any other way.

Turns out, the next Labrador record is lyrically gonna be like On The Beach but instead of Yuppies it’s going to be about raiding the homes of Billionaires and fighting Fascist scum 🙏

Am I depressed because I am listening to Richard & Linda Thompson records nonstop or am I listening to Richard & Linda Thompson records nonstop BECAUSE I am depressed?

Been seeing a lot of people listening to Hold The Door For Strangers lately on Bandcamp (dot) com. It's a pretty good Fall album, I must admit. Thank you!

Feel actual real love and a belief in magic whenever I see my friends play their songs live.

Can’t go wrong with either at the top! Honestly, a lot of these are narrow margins for me. Unparalleled songwriter.

I feel that with the mumbly delivery! They’re definitely children of aughts indie rock. I hear so much VU/John Cale and the more experimental percussive elements on Tom Waits records as well.

What do you think about the band Labrador and would you like to play with them in Brooklyn at some point in the near future?
labrador-tunes.bsky.social
A thing I really about Geese is that with this album and 3D Country they’re making music that is so specific to THEM and not indie rock that recalls something else. We’ve been living in such a weird spot where you could guess how a band sounds based on certain key words. More of this, please!

Everyone needs a friend that they can blindly text a song to accompanied simply by the word “FUCK” and they totally understand where you’re coming from.

Ever take a big hit and go on a late night stroll to a smattering of Elvis bangers? I highly recommend it.
