2025 Royals v Dbacks prospect game was a gray, cold, windy evening of fun. Got to see lots of guys in person that I’d only seen on fuzzy MiLB tv broadcasts. Photo is Jac Caglianone at bat.

I’m actually good to be in Virginia that weekend watching two of my granddaughters in student production of Nutcracker. I’m excited bc we’ve seen them dance, but not Nutcracker. Here’s the older one as Clara a few years ago.

Power went out at our house at 9:45 bc a tree limb from our aging elm tree fell onto the lines.
Thanks to #Evergy, the tree limb is already on the ground and they’re working on the power lines now.

Hubs has a “favorite aunt” in Springfield who loves the pumpkin pie concretes. We make sure to visit her in October to get her one while it’s on the menu.

You might try Advent Health SouthOverland Park. Hubs had hip replaced there and got great, attentive care. He wasn’t in ER, but the hospital is new, so not as busy as some others.

Mr. Celery!!
I almost bought my grandson a Mr. Celery t-shirt today. He likes outlandish sports shirts — Hartford Yard Goats is one of his faves.
But he’s a picky eater and I worried he wouldn’t like the shirt since he doesn’t like celery. Got him Aberdeen Ironbirds instead.
