Nothing quite shows the decline in reading skills and critical thinking quite like the fact that people reading meme references not only don't get the meme but also cannot even parse that it even IS a meme.

The whole bruhaha over 50yr mortgages ignores the really basic fact that people who currently cannot afford homes cannot do so because of the down payment, not because of the monthly. They're already paying the monthly, it's called rent.

I feel in the rising prices of #healthinsurance due to the lack of ACA subsidies we don't talk about the part where those raised prices are because the insurance companies raised prices to get the same cash from us and get the subsidies in order to balloon their profits.
