You would think that the 8 GOP Senators who are SO OUTRAGED that Jack Smith subpoenaed their phone records that they want $1 million compensation would bring him in to testify IN A PUBLIC HEARING to explain why he did this. But no, they don’t want to do that. I wonder why?

It’s no wonder the minister for equalities keeps saying they’re waiting for more information from the EHRC.

FOI reveals the EHRC couldn’t even be bothered to finish an impact assessment for their new code of practice. When Bridget Phillipson asked for it on 8 October, all they managed to hand over was an unfinished “working draft”. 1/

Personally, my experience of this government compared to the last one is things are getting noticeably worse (and more right wing) in multiple ways. I'm not aware of anything that's getting better.

As a current weekend bartender who has bartended everywhere from swanky clubs to Irish pubs, my advice to young women in bars & clubs is this:
