I'm kinda desperate for blackcurrant versions of things. Blackcurrants were hosts for insects that attacked white pine and forestry won over fruit so North America has a dearth of blackcurrant stuff.

We were going to pop into Bletchley but with only two weeks to drive from near London to Aberdeen and back again, we had to cut *something*. 😭
It was a good thing we had people to meet, though; we'd have been here all day and not gotten to Hull until midnight 😅

It was black tie dinner stuff and honestly even with "mandatory attendance" if I hadn't come out, I'd have just snuck out and gone home rather than wear a godsforsaken suit.
But funnily, nobody outside our local office got the coming out email so out of towners were just...not saying anything 😅

I felt SO much better.
I still felt weird - I'd dart into the women's only when I knew nobody was there and wouldn't come out of the stall if someone was there, internal drama I know for a FACT they'd call me out as being silly for.
But I also came out in time for our big conference.

Might be worth it for a few things. Hope I'm not choking the planet out, though. Kinda hoping people will make LLM/AI chips - something custom built to do the same thing JUST so it uses less power to do it!
And yeah, sanity is overrated.

One of my favourite lipstick tricks is to use one a more powerful long-wear lipsticks - Maybelline Superstay has been perfect for me on that - and mix it with either another colour of the same or with something less durable (e.g. Nyx).
Put down dots of each and then blend them in under a minute.

I didn't have a glow-up per se but it's tipped over seven years now this past summer and I had a "Theseus Day" post for the myth of having everything replaced every seven years.
I was reluctant to start, to put it mildly, but every year, I become a little more myself; I can tell.
