When looking at Norway etc. please ask yourself why we would want to have restricted trade in agri/fish products, no possibility of a common VAT area, and no possibility of forming a customs union with the EU?

Only rejoining the EU ticks all the boxes, folks!

Does Simon make the common error of thinking that there is a sweet spot of rejoining the Single Market & CU but not rejoining the EU?

That option would require the EFTA 4 to agree to the UK signing the EEA agreement but not joining EFTA (because EFTA members cannot form CUs with anyone).
