(3/3)만약 아는 사람이 이런 말을 했다면 차분히 대화를 시도해봤겠지만, 모르는 사람에게 갑자기 반박을 하기도 애매해서 그냥 넘겼다. 하지만 속은 편하지 않았다. 사실과 다른 정보가 아무렇지 않게 퍼지고 이것이 여론이 되어 실제 정치까지 영향을 끼친다는걸 생각하면 그냥 듣고만 있어야 하는 상황이 꽤 불편했다.

(3/4)I checked the current price of the same model I own. Since I bought mine, a newer version now costs nearly $1,500 after tax. I paid $999 for mine almost two years ago. I understand there have been some improvements, but a 50% price jump is hard to swallow.

I reached out to the company I bought the bike from to ask about service options, but I haven’t received a helpful response yet.
I contacted my local bike shop, and they warned that the repair could be expensive.

(2/2)Sure, it shows more wear and tear than a traditional bike, but it still runs smoothly, except for the battery. When I first got it, the battery could cover over 20 miles on a full charge.
These days, I’m lucky if it gets me 15.

(3/4)At first, I was frustrated by the price. But I needed the bike fixed immediately, and I trust this shop. Supporting a local business I believe in felt important. The repair took nearly an hour, and I imagine at least $20 of the labor fee went directly to the technician’s wage.

(2/4)This time, the inner tube burst and damaged the tire too. I brought in my own replacement tire (which cost me $40 plus tax) and asked the local bike shop to fix it. The total came out to $65: $20 for a new inner tube and $45 for labor. Altogether, the repair cost me over $100.
