Sweden has provided around 400 tons of old fishing nets to Ukraine, used as a low-tech but effective defense against drones. The nets are strung over trenches, roads, and shelter entrances at frontline positions to entangle drone propellers.

Residents report that at least two drones flew over the area. The Matveev-Kurgan oil depot, operational since 1955, supplies fuel to various sectors and retail petroleum products through its gas stations.
