“Brother” by #AniaAhlborn is the most disgusting, nihilistic book ever. It surpasses #splatterpunk. A slow moving car crash w/ all the gore. Red flag hoisted. Every trigger warning. Yet, look how many are in line to read it. What is wrong with us?

“Baby X” by #KiraPeikoff - I’m a fan. Speculative fiction with a mystery twist. We’re already seeing designer babies - why not make them from leftover skin cells from famous people?

Ugh. What can I say? I really enjoyed this very mainstream book. I feel cheap. But it was really satisfying. “Long Time Gone” by #CharlieDonlea is a guilty pleasure- even if he wrote too much about CrossFit. Easy read for a hard week.

“Annie Bot” by #SierraGreer is a good read, but not 4 me. A robot struggles w/her humanness. I’m struggling w/real humans and their humanness - not ready for robot neediness. Kinda 1 note, but enjoyable. Perhaps too parallel w/ reality?
