@stephruhle.bsky.social breaks down Trump's 50-year mortgage plan
November 11, 2025 at 6:07 AM
no. what really matters now is the enormous sh!tloads of financial pressure families (and the entire healthcare system) will feel due to premium increases. don't gloss over that...

I like @thebulwark.com. But these statements ⬆️ by @timmiller.bsky.social @saletan.bsky.social @crampell.bsky.social, brushing off the financial anxiety and economic (housing, jobs, grocery) pressures, shows just how out of touch you are...

I knew how out of touch I was, after Nov 2024.

Dems conspired to cave. bottom line

Democrats were overwhelmingly united on their shutdown demands.

Americans understood that Trump and Republicans were to blame.

Voters made it known last Tuesday that they'll elect leaders who stand up to Trump.

Democrats held the cards — and folded for no reason.

ACA signups more than doubled since the enhanced premium tax credits went into effect, from 11.4 million in 2020 to 24.3 million this year. Without that enhanced premium assistance, enrollment will drop substantially.

is this a fake account, @rbreich.bsky.social? if so, report it

so @timmiller.bsky.social @saletan.bsky.social continuing the shutdown was filling "emotional needs" of the "very online" - or preventing massive $ harm to many small businesses (employing 59 mil), families, workers who rely on the ACA?

And those cuts increase ➡️ everyone's ⬅️ premiums. so blasé.
November 10, 2025 at 9:20 PM
it was so bogus what you said on the pod.

if Democrats had won the concession to extend the enhanced ACA premium tax credits now, they could have prevented the significant premium ⬆️ ⬆️ ⬆️ hikes set for January 2026.

@timmiller.bsky.social @thebulwark.com

I mean wtf? Do you know how much that is?

great convo with @sarahlongwell25.bsky.social @crampell.bsky.social. But when you say the #economy was not too bad, I thought so too before the 2024 elections: jobs and inflation were moving in the right direction...

➡️ but anxiety & financial strain lingers due to covid era inflation, housing etc.
