Maybe they're considering switching things up for characters (or have already switched things up). But... hair and personality? Maybe for guys with long hair (unusual here) and girls with short hair (unusual there)?

Actually last year in 4.8 they did a survey asking about their trailers/PVs--and then 5.X added Character Anecdotes (animated story) & later, retired Collected Miscellany (gameplay demo).

I didn't expect this. Reshaping the artifact doesn't let you change the sub-stats, but it does re-roll the base amount (so a low roll might become a high roll, or vice versa... a high roll becoming a low roll)

I guess we'll get to see them ~2 years from now, like asking about NieR circa Inazuma/Sumeru(?) went into Wriothesley's SQ in Fontaine.
