A7. A quote I love from Joanna Maciejewska

"I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so that I can do art and writing, not for AI to do my art and writing so that I can do my laundry and dishes."

Q10. Who do you believe will be the last group of people to experience AI as a "game-changer," and what specific purpose could AI serve to accelerate their inclusion? #DigiBlogChat

A10. Most likely those affected by digital poverty, the homeless, indigenous people. Maybe inclusivity could be enhanced by using the tech for translation and education more effectively. For all the money being generated redirecting it to specific causes makes sense. #DigiBlogChat

A6. Interesting to see how this will play out as education treats AI as bad with the tools to detect and act as a disincentive not embrace it. In higher education it's more likely to be a valuable tool so needs to work out a new approach #DigiBlogChat

A4. AI sells high margin Cloud Computing but more than that allows new players to threaten their dominance in search and ads. #DigiBlogChat

Good, there has to be a benefit to surgery. I had neurosurgery 25 years ago, a friend decided my nurse was bad for my recovery and got her replaced. I was too high on morphine to realise and only found out later. #DigiBlogChat

A3. AI places itself between original documents (including CVs) and search - Over reliance on AI output could lead to misinformation, bias, less traceability, etc. interesting an AI pioneer has decided it needs a new architecture in learning #DigiBlogChat

A2. Productivity is key for me too - AI helps me refine spreadsheets, catch mistakes early, and deliver polished reports while keeping my workflow calm and ahead of deadlines. #DigiBlogChat

A7. The wise approach would be to take a risk-based view to protecting the assets of the business first. Intellectual Property is generated by humans not machines so keeping the competitive advantage means security before efficiency. #DigiBlogChat

Q7. Should the purpose of generative AI be purely utilitarian (efficiency) or should it be encouraged to serve a creative purpose that challenges or replaces traditional human artistry? #DigiBlogChat

Go to settings and Search, you can select which engine does the hard yards. #DigiBlogChat DuckDuckGo and DuckDuckAI are available if you want to experiment.

Nothing minor about back surgery, no wonder you are feeling a bit slow if you have anaesthetic to process out. That can take several weeks. Hopefully your discomfort is bearable and the result is what you want. Take it steady. PS - did you get a hot nurse? #DigiBlogChat

A big Hi back to you @lazblazter.bsky.social! And hello @carolstephen.bsky.social!

Totally agree! My take: AI will let me plan smarter, finish early, and hand over polished content for marketing - keeping stress out of the equation. #DigiBlogChat

Agreed. Guessing you have other search engines deployed though, any recommendations? #DigiBlogChat

Google search sucks. Rather than take you to verifiable sites, you just get customized answers that you can't cite. #DigiBlogChat

As in not feeling full of zip? Nothing wrong with a slower pace of life, maybe a cold beer and a book to take you to a happy place. #DigiBlogChat
