I don't write a lot atm, but what helps me is just googling "poetry prompts" like this one. It gives me ideas of what to write, kind of like warming up, before I eventually feel comfortable crafting something on my own.

Dreamt that my friends and I were shoplifting and when we were about to get caught, I ran straight into the woods. Leaping over hills and dodging branches like it was an action movie, all while this song played. Very ill-fitting. I woke up with a headache because being on the run is exhausting.

When I have a lot of energy, I love anything Cowboy Bebop. The soundtracks have so much personality! But when I want something chill, I love artists like FKJ.
