Norma is heavily involved in the coalition talks, that would make me think she can choose her portfolio, I pray she has ambitions beyond ruining education and will move on to ruining something more high profile like justice or finance (don’t wish her to get finance - that would ruin everyone)!

1/5 Today’s fiscal monitor show the final Exchequer returns for 2024. There are two key takeaways from the figures: 1) underlying revenue remains very strong; 2) spending is increasing at a rapid pace leading to large overruns.

An excellent piece that could be used to introduce fixed, variable costs and economies of scale in #lceconomics. Just as true in Ireland, 85% in this south Dublin car park today are a shade of black or grey/silver (included my silver car), 10% red and 5% blue

Having relatively recently introduced the new economics spec & face business starting next year, I feel the CPD provided ahead of introduction & at the early stages leaves a lot to be desired. The SEC & PDST (Oide) should be involved at a much earlier stage with the NCCA. Teachers #edchatie 1/3
