Love this snippet! It kinda reminds me of how Veldi feels in Tail -Wing Trackers about men seeking her hand.

She’s seen too many w/ ambitions of taking over her family’s wealth & influence that she’s hesitant to even talk about her family. Osvald proves among the few to see her as her own person.

In fact, his research eventually results in an elixir known as Emberoak Cordial, the first-ever ‘vaccine’ in history.

Kai also proves instrumental in promoting the cultivation of emberona & whorled everoak, the Cordial’s main ingredients, in specialized greenhouses (2/2)

At least *someone* has some sense! Kai’s of the mind of, “I’m not testing it on anyone if I’m not willing to do so myself.”

It’s how he became such an expert on identifying and treating poisons…

Knowing Kai, he’d probably be crazy enough to offer himself up as the lab guinea pig just to test them all too!

Eggy is definitely one of my favorite character designs of yours!

I feel like these two would get along with Kai so well. They’d all just be bustling away, crafting concoctions without a care in the world.

Guilty! 😅 I hated every minute of it & bawled about it, but it needed doing…

Love the art! She looks so pretty!

Agreed! I have to have an outline serving as the story’s framework or the whole thing will derail like a runaway train.

I can get creative building the story around the outline but I need that foundation to make anything worth reading.
