I don't for one second think any of this was intentional.
But as deputy PM, and knowing she was a target, surely she had access to better advisors than we would.
I would imagine even the head of HMRC would have taken a call from someone in that position.

I like Angela and hope she comes back stronger than ever.
However I do think she was naive in this.
Knowing they had been out to get her, she should have checked, double checked and checked again that what she was doing was correct.
