Thoughts on the world from a left of middle perspective. Proudly liberal. Proudly anti-facist and anti-stupidity.

50 year mortgages will not improve affordability. Buying a house at 30 and still owing at 80 is insane. The only people that benefit are the banks.

Halliburton will be flying their flags in Iraq at half mast.

Most of them benefit from socialism…

Let them eat cake!

Trump, the night before millions of americans lose their SNAP aid, hosting a Great Gatsby style feast full of scantily clad dancers. This is what "Christians" in america largely support.

No. 467 ranked Junior Golfer Kai Trump has received a exemption to make her LPGA tour debut.

I thought they wanted to make women's sports fair? Sounds to me like there are a few hundred young women more deserving of the spot. I guess DEI is ok when the inclusion is nepotism?

I suppose at this point I shouldn't be surprised at anything, and considering the other checks that have gone out the window, but I will admit I'm a bit surprised a president can just tear down chunks of a historical building like the white House and slap on some gaudy ballroom.

Trump in 2017: “Qatar has been a funder of terrorism at a very high level.”

Amazing that all it costs to get a foreign airbase belonging to a terrorist funding country inside the USA is a used jet and a golf course.

This man is running health and human services.

You could honestly pick, completely at random, any first year medical resident, and give them the job and they would be vastly more qualified.

Does JD not know that the Republicans control all three branches of the government?

I wish it was self awareness. In reality he's just setting up for continuing the purge of anyone not blindly loyal to the regime..

So, trump was an FBI informant about a Democrat hoax?

Their desperation reeks.

"Hey honey, I'm getting deployed. Going to D.C. Not sure when I'll be home. Yeah, apparently there is a coke bottle under a tree.... "

Death of democracy, birth of a dictatorship.

"I have the right to do anything I want to do. I'm the president of the United States. If I think our country is in danger, and it is in danger in these cities, I can do it"

"Protect your culture"?

It's truly difficult to decide which of Trump's appointments is the worst, but RFK being in charge of HHS might end up being the one that kills the most Americans.

Please, if you must buy balloons, especially mylar, please make sure they don't fly away and are disposed of properly. I've cleaned up way too many over the years, and can only imagine many land in areas where few humans tread.

This was kind of middle of nowhere in the Mohave desert.

If Bill Gates, my wife, and I go out for dinner, on average everyone at the table is a billionaire. My wife and I are not billionaires.

When it comes to taxes, tax cuts, and how that benefits you and your neighbors, averages tend to be close to worthless figures.

It's more than a little insane that in a period of weeks we've gone from Trump selling Teslas on the lawn of the Whitehouse and having Musk in cabinet meetings, to this.

It makes me immensely sad that the country I grew up loving is no longer a place I'd recommend others visit.
