totally get your concern. Just another idea: how about the old layout but with stone-like borders for the icons? I think the "heaviness" from the new design mostly comes from the background for the icons. 🤔 anyway I think you'll figure smth cool out, I'm curious and stay lurking 😀

the gothic style looks RLY cool! But tbh the other one feels lighter and seems to take less space.
what about adding an option for the user to choose between different UI themes? 🤔
