Definitely encourage them to DM as well, our kids friend groups often do one shots for birthdays etc and always write their own stories.

Our current D&D campaign has almost led to fisticuffs after one character decided to join the dark lord at the end.

Always worried I’m missing something here but none of my kids have ever had chat enabled on Roblox, and just play with me or their friends with FaceTime or round a table and tbh it’s way more wholesome than my gaming habits as a kid. Bring on friendslop.
