This is likely going to be my album of the year. Lost count of how many times I had it on the turntable. Beautiful work and I probably would have missed out on it if it wasn’t for the people I follow on here

Usually I find Jazz-with-an-orchestra-records to be almost unlistenable. This record from 1958 is a welcome exception (‘91, Japanese reissue). Beautifully laidback and only almost kitschy.* Perfect for days which are both dark and rainy.

I picked up the new Ghosted III record yesterday and it rules!
Sometimes I buy records by artists I like without listening to them beforehand. Occasionally it backfires but in this case it clearly didn‘t.
