Sanction the UAE 100%. Provide aid 100%. I'd also be in favour of forcing the RSF to let aid into besieged areas (like El-Fasher, before it fell).
Not sure that arming the SLM/A would be a great idea though... Admittedly I don't know much about them, but it could have unintended consequences.

engagement (diplomatic, economic, etc) to really produce a good outcome for the affected country. I don't really trust the US to do that. Therefore, while I can imagine a scenario in which the US bombing the RSF in Sudan leads to a good outcome for the Sudanese people, I'm not sure that I could.. 5/

If there's any lesson to be drawn, it's that US/NATO/EU air power can be used effectively to support allies on the ground as long as they are well organized and have pre-existing governmental structures and a degree of political legitimacy. But that needs to be paired with other forms of... 4/

There's an argument to be made that NATO intervention in Bosnia was positive, but the record is mixed. They helped end the sieges of Sarajevo, Bihać, etc, but also created a very dysfunctional post-war political order with NATO/EU pseudo-protectorate over the country. 3/

I also supported the US intervention in Syria against ISIS. Admittedly, that produced much better results. But I wish people would reflect a little more on the wisdom of intervention. Sometimes it can make things worse, and ultimately we should not be supporting the US as world policeman. 2/
