but eventually they gave up and even stopped giving and receiving gifts themselves. At least within the family. But I do have to say they are still the exception where I live. I still see a lot of people feeling the need to buy gifts all the time.

A lot of people here have furniture in front of their apartment entrances. I know some landlords prohibit this, but not all of them.

Also the concrete doesn't really help much if the doors are made of wood too, which is the case in my apartment complex.

4/4 But buying new candles (especially bees wax) is insanely expensive after a while and they don't last long. So I started annoying people about wax leftovers and used candles or unused ones that nobody wants. lol 😁

3/4 I rarely use the large lights at my place (too bright/irritating) so I like to go for smaller lights that use batteries. The problem: more and more of them are using lithium-ion batteries, and have an insanely short lifespan. So I like to switch to candles especially during the darker season.
