I mean it absolutely is odd. Tribalism is always a bit odd. But it'll be no different in Chile so he'll understand what it means even if it makes no actual sense. It'll just make me sad to see him in blue.

If true, that is heartbroken and bonkers in equal measure. Don't know why you'd undermine three years of your career for a sideways move.

Of course, we all have the capacity to be unkind from time to time - maybe even get overcome by feelings of anger & frustration.
But I cannot get my head around how many people are prepared to willfully, consistently and routinely carry out evil acts, unencumbered by conscience or empathy.
