That canceled tv show that you’ll never stop thinking about

It’ll always be Pushing Daisies 😭

And Ep6 is just as 🥱

Finally caught up with episode 5 and by god is the whole show just pointless. A boring retread with cut and paste characters from the films, using the same jump scares no matter what. Even Pennywise is just running towards the camera, arms outstretched. That’s not scary after the 30th time!
3 episodes in and struggling with Muschietti thinking that every single ‘scare’ has to involve the loudest music and gangliest monster to be effective. The cemetery scene felt like a Disney version of the Evil Dead, floating around like they’re in Eddie Murphy’s The Haunted Mansion 🙃 #WelcometoDerry

Only 20 minutes into Welcome to Derry and why are the kids practically exact replicas of the Losers Club from the films? Dialogue and acting feels copy and paste. Ever since Stranger Things kids dialogue has been weird! I’ll keep watching but currently feels a little pointless?

Sadly, Noirvember ends this weekend 😰

If you want one last push, or just aren't prepared to let it end quite yet, why not explore our full dark and deadly noir range?

Yongary, Monster From the Deep (1967), Dir. Kim Ki-duk — He may not be as famous as his kaiju cousins, but this scrappy South Korean beast still leaves a big footprint.. Cheap, yes. Silly, of course. But Yongary is a low-budget stompfest that earns its spot in the giant-monster family tree-it's fun🎞️

He’s had a 7 week post-op check and has had the all clear! Still can’t go on full off lead walks for a few more weeks, but I can finally let him have free reign of the house again and I don’t have to sleep on the floor or put his harness on just go to toilet in the garden anymore 😍
My buddy is back from his surgery 😍

Sleeping on the floor in the spare room with him in his cone of shame so no chance of him jumping around in the night

Yeah, I really need to learn that I shouldn’t buy a box set just because it would look nice on the shelf. 2/3 films watched of the Red Giallo Essentials from Arrow, and just like with the black edition, it’s gone straight to eBay 😕

Now, I don’t really care to see the film they’re reviewing (Wicked: For Good), but this just proves once again why Rotten Tomatoes really shouldn’t have as much of an impact as it does. Both reviews are 3/5, yet one is rotten and the other isn’t…

I’ve chucked some more films and games on eBay, probably gonna add even more over the next few days. Need to make more room on my shelves 😂

Was trying to see if there’s been any writing on Varda’s influence on Bergman, knowing already about her shot in La Pointe Courte being copied by Bergman, but watching Through a Glass Darkly, also visually similar, I just wanted to explore it more. Yet this AI bullshit just doesn’t read quite right?
