Ming Campbell was a dedicated public servant and a true Liberal giant.

His principled leadership opposing the Iraq War was a mark of his morality, courage and wisdom.

But more than that, he was an incredibly warm and caring friend and colleague.

We will miss him terribly.

Over the past year, the Government has done nothing but neglect farmers - with the cruel family farm tax, cutting the farming budget and selling out British farmers by accepting lower-standard US beef.

Our fantastic farmers are a testament to Britain, making vital contributions to our economy & putting nutritious food on our tables.
