RCSI Library supports the personal and professional development of all team members. Library assistants participate in regular and on-going training and development relevant to their roles in order to enable them to best support library users.

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) has a key role in supporting the academic progression of students as well as supporting staff to improve levels of literacy and numeracy and develop the ability of students to research and learn independently, often using electronic resources.

Applications are invited for a temporary post of an Interim Head of Special Collections within UCD Library. The mission of UCD Library is to be a leader in enriching the student experience, to empower global engagement, and to act as an intellectual centre for the UCD community.

A member of the library management team, the role holder will contribute to the leadership and mission of the library in providing quality information resources, services, supports, resources and facilities to the University community. The Deputy Librarian will contribute to managing the library service, implement library policy and progress library development and growth under the direction and guidance of the Head Librarian. The role holder will share strategic oversight of all the activities of the library with other members of the Library Management Team cross campus and will play a key role in the current integration and development of the Library. The role holder will assist the Head Librarian in all academic strategic and management affairs of the Library and may deputise for the Head Librarian as required.

The Research and Systematic Review Librarian for the Health Sciences plays a critical role in advancing the research, teaching, clinical, and service missions of the Department of Nursing and TUS Library. This position emphasizes supporting systematic review processes, scholarly communication, citation management, and research impact services. The librarian will work closely with students, faculty, clinicians, and researchers, providing expert guidance on evidence-based searching, information synthesis, data management, and research methodologies. This role is collaborative, working within a team to advance research services and implement innovative solutions in scholarly communication in the Department of Nursing.
