Great read, and what's really weird, is that I thought you'd brushed over the chart success of 101. Except there wasn't any. I'd have sworn blind they were on ToTP with it. Reader, they weren't.

I've got a 40gb hd of house and techno and I've barely scratched the surface of it years later.

I don't accept that Che Adams and Lyndon Dykes are Scotland's best striking options.

He can't be any worse than Hickey was. Not that he was particularly lower in standard than anybody else.

I don't recall it either tbh. Although it's possible I was rummaging in the video box or something.

Weren't the fair play rules supposed to stop this kind of thing too?

Everybody will end up back on subject specific message boards, small enough to be properly moderated. Very few people actually need this in their life. It's just a distraction.

You just know they do love something "Indian" but are just too ignorant to realise it.

A penny might as well be $100 if you haven't got an income.

Damn. Didn't realise there was a gigs in Scotland presale. None left.

The moderation done via an API and a pre-trained model makes it less likely that all the images are being fed in as part of that process.

We've all been duped into adding alt text for accessibility but in reality we're providing description for AI.

Rightly so. I don't really feel strongly on whether it's the manager or a DoF but doing it by committee as seems to be the case is clearly no use.

As I ponder it while out with the dog, it very much sounds like there's not a person/director with responsibility for transfers and any level of budgetary control. You know like a director of football. They seem all the rage for the last couple of decades.

See that bit about emails to senior board about increased transfer offers. That alone proves it's not fit for purpose. Those situations are fast moving, either the negotiating person should know their ceiling limit, or it should be a phone call away.

Farcical.

I think people would use a reliable 'answer engine' rather than a search engine. That's a big part of what coding ai is used for. Hit it with an bug or error and get a solution, rather than look at several options from eg stack overflow and figure it out.

I still can't get my head around Bari Weiss not being a pun on Barry White for a parody character.

On BR approving all transfers. If you've a gap in the squad and you're told the player presented is the only viable option, you're going to approve. Regardless of whether you genuinely think he's going to improve the squad. A poor option is better than no option.

So that's a nothing statement.

If anything we know it's under diagnosed.

I think that tax barrier was only in place when he was a candidate to replace Clement. It was cleared after the end of the tax year in April.

All good things must come to an end.

Correct. Yesterday's result could be one of those 'moments' that pivots a season hopefully.

My feeling is we have too many 'Tom Rogics' ie drift in and out of games, often poor but with occasional moments of brilliance and not enough 'Greg Taylors' ie solid 7/10 regularly.

If, and I accept they probably won't allow it to, things carry on as is, they're on track to finish outside the top 6.
lightingmonkey.bsky.social
Yes it is, but if we were to get challenged from two sides it would be pressure we're not used to. We don't currently look like a team that's guaranteed to handle it.

All true, but McInnes isn't a rookie in this league and they don't have any European distractions. I said earlier today that their big issue is they play for 24pts against teams that *should* be better than them and at least the same against teams on the same level. We'll win, but I can see them 2nd
