A thing that surprised me the most about Edgar Wright's reimagining of Stephen King's "The Running Man" was that the hero's wife knit sweaters, socks & baby clothes from thrifted yarns. 😱 🧶

Isn't it interesting that most of the occupations that the Trump regime no longer considered "professions" and not eligible for #studentloans are the same ones that many #H1B visas are issued for? Just an observation.

My local city election results are in. 5 of the 7 city council positions were up for the vote. 4 of the 5 encumbants lost. Those 4 were all Republicans. The 5th was a Democrat.
I am shocked my Red city flipped Blue. I did not see that coming.

The local election is November 4th (tomorrow) but there was a line of people at 3 pm today at City Hall dropping off their ballots. No Federal candidates at all and there was a line. Amazing. 🇺🇲

My MAGA relative just asked how people can hate 47 after a private donor gave money to pay soldiers's salaries during the "shutdown caused by Democrats." I gave myself a cramp trying to follow that pretzel logic.
I'm not even a Democrat and I found that a dizzying string of connections.

I feel for the Trump kids. Toxic narcissistic parents take up a lot of space in their kids lives. Even if they loath them, the void left when they're gone is huge. So much energy is spent on "what's next?" it's disorienting when it stops.

If you know basic kabbalah it's actually not too hard to make a golem out of a labubu. Don't recommend it though. They have a pre-existing body-dharma. As soon as they wake they run straight for the sea. V hard to counter. Lost the first one. No idea what it's doing out there. Moved like lightning.
