How long will the people endure calls from men like Musk to "tighten" our belts?

Give Republicans enough time to install enough Federalist Society reactionaries & Emil Boves on to the so-called lower courts, allow them to populate the Judiciary with the same kind of arrogant pomposities that now dominate SCOTUS, and the laugh's going to be on all of us.

It's so strange how some people can write about due process and humane treatment as if they were bad things. Reaching such people is an almost impossible bridge to cross. Until they're fearful for their own rights.

How loathsome can a human being get? It's not a topic most of us ever wanted to come to grips with. Except maybe for homicide detectives and FBI agents who, in saner times, used to go after serial killers instead of heroes.
