Final walk short today at Los Nietos before heading home tomorrow was to try to get a pic of a cracking male Black Redstart in a small park area outside the apartment we have been staying at - sadly not seen but this female came by. I ended up with 69 species seen. #Birds #Birding #Spain #Murcia

Penultimate Mar Menor coastal walk today at Los Nietos got me to 69 species for the holiday with a lone Grey Plover & this juv Greater Flamingo showed nicely near the Nautical Club. #Birds #Birding #Spain #Murcia

A dull & quiet early morning walk at nearby & tricky to walk around small Los Urrutias wetland area at the Regata Club harbour got me up to 68 species with Buzzard & a lovely Zitting Cisticola in front of the Regata Club. #Birds #Birding #Spain #Murcia

A walk around part of Calblanque Regional Park near Los Nietos this afternoon gave up a few Warbler species, Chiffchaff, Black Redstart, Sardinian Warbler & Stonechat, Dunnock added to list for species 65 so far. Also Kestrel, Greenfinch & Sandwich Tern #Birds #Birding #Spain #Murcia
