Also, because I'm feeling really pissy, Tony Gilroy sanded off a lot of Jyn's rougher edges and is why so many of you hate her for being "passive". Pre-reshoot Jyn was a way more aggressive rebel. In many ways, pre-Gilroy Jyn reminds me of Paddy Mayne from SAS: Rogue Heroes

Like expectations and perceptions and all, but SAS: RH did things with characters it didn't have to do in (a positive way). It's problematic for sure, but there's a surprising amount of nuance and depth to the show and it's a fun time
