First essay for public law done and stressed that I’ve not followed the instructions right. Knowledge isn’t an issue but new/unknown structure freaks me out. Well I guess I will just have to wait now and focus on getting my contract law essay done.

I honestly can’t stand people saying to me being autistic is a superpower or that most dyslexics have better grammar/spelling than those that don’t. I know it’s well meant & to be supportive but what it really does is put me under pressure I don’t need and dismisses the struggles I face.

Speaker Johnson says he's "deeply disappointed" the Senate approved the Epstein files bill without making changes.

He said he spoke to Trump about it: "We both have concerns"

Asked if Trump may veto it: "l'm not saying that. I don't know..."

Look at his face.
He's proper scared.
Delicious.

Dx’d with migraines at 4 and struggled all my life. It was so bad I had a neurologist. No one figured out what the cause was until I had my autism assessment. Since accommodating my needs I now don’t need a neurologist saving the NHS money wtf problem does Tice have with ear defenders.

my last test, the optician was great but the assistant wasn’t. She kept showing me frames I’d already said I couldn’t wear, then infantilised me with ‘don’t worry’ scripts, even commenting on my eye colour as if it was an anxiety issue rather than a sensory one. I’m an autistic adult, not a child
Our research study reveals barriers autistic people face in eye care – from sensory overload to rushed exams – and how professionals want to do better. Key fixes: clear communication, more time, calmer spaces. Read the open access paper: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...

I used to love social media; it was my way to connect.
But in the last few years it’s become really draining — not just because of the hate, but because it’s like watching lemmings.

Farage jumps off a cliff with a 🪂, everyone else jumps to their death.

They call us 🐑. Oh, the irony.

(Warning trigger))
Thinking of my nan today, we lived with her when I was a child. I honestly believe now she was autistic but they labeled her schizophrenic and gave her state sponsored torture through electric shock treatment 😢 makes me sad to think how different it should have been. #Autism

I thought that academic Twitter was the worst: never ending stream of new publications, top jobs, big grants, prestigious awards, great conferences etc. Lives of those truly successful!

Now that I am on LinkedIn I have realised something: Twitter was a rookie platform when it comes to smugness.
