Flocking is back on the menu!
I wanna show off my setup because it has to be stupid and convoluted. These little fibers get in EVERYTHING I paint if they’re in my office, so I have everything quarantined in this collapsible tent in my bathroom-turned-printing-room 😅

Me inside my flocking tent that is made out of pvc pipes and plastic sheeting, with a construction zipper thing as an entrance.

The flocking setup in its collapsed state, the frame and plastic work as sort of an accordion, sealing all the flocking fuzz in behind the door. To the left you can see two of my printers and my massive resin collection, and to the right is my office on the other side of the door. When you look at it you don’t notice the insane clutter at all, almost as if someone Jedi mind tricked you not to see it. Fascinating

I’m currently deep in con prep for designercon, and a couple new -ellybean colors have emerged in the process 👀

Random junk on my desk for scale 😇

Two original-flavor Jellybean tigers (mango-yellow with charcoal stripes and red details) flank the new neon-yellow jellybean tiger with black stripes and hot pink details.
A little secret for you who read alt-text: I finished this yellow tiger and immediately showed my wonderful partner how nice and tight the joints are with this new resin, and because it was freshly assembled it still had a little excess joint lubricant on it and almost instantly slipped out of his hands and fell on the hard floor and the arms and tail broke off and comically blasted in all directions. This is post-fix, you almost wouldn’t know it broke 😅
I have no idea why I don’t have soft rugs covering every inch of my office floor at this point, I’ve lost many a guy to my own butterfingers and this hard, unforgiving laminate flooring 🫠

Introducing Skellybean!
Much like the skelly cats, skellybean has a glow in the dark skeleton inside their translucent body. Unlike skelly cats, their face is a removable mask, revealing a spooky skull underneath. I’ll have a limited number of these guys in my shop this Friday!

All it took was two hours on the floor disassembling my printer to mop up all the resin. Luckily elegoo is smart and designed everything to survive a bunch of resin pooling at the bottom of the printer haha
