One of the Autumn Meadowhawks..seems to be a very large population of them this year..the red ones are the males,the females are greenish-brown with yellow legs.
First Woolly Bear caterpillar sighting of the season crawling through the moss picking up dewdrops from the night’s very heavy dew…he will become a pretty Isabella Tiger moth and is predicting a moderately harsh Winter since he has more black than rust🙃
