No wonder I could never remember the meaning of "capricious." Its origins are from, in part, riccio, or "hedgehog." (At least now I know the definition.)

I stumbled on this while searching for something pertaining to none of the aforementioned characters. But anyway, I think DFW also coined "Lynchian" in an Esquire piece? He talks about Dahmer being "borderline Lynchian," but for specific reasons.
